A little background... We've been building StoryFair Audiobooks since early 2022, and we just went live in June. For those of you who are just now learning about who we are, here's the cliff's notes version: other audiobook retailers are keeping WAY too much of the money from every audiobook sale. For example, if you're buying an audiobook on Audible, and the author or publisher doesn't have an exclusive deal with Amazon, Amazon keeps 75% of the sale price. That's not an exaggeration... only 25% of the sale price of an audiobook is paid in royalties by Amazon. They. Keep. The. Rest. If you are exclusive with Audible - meaning you can't sell that audiobook ANYWHERE else - they still keep 60%.
